DESCRIPTION:Whalemobile—interactive virtual programs \nThe Tale of the Tail of the Humpback (9:30 AM\, Ages 5-9)\nThere will be a session at 11am for children ages 10-12.\nAll are welcome to join us for a Virtual Whale Watch at 1.\nFriday\, June 18th \nCynde McInnis\, aka the whale lady\, will teach us all about Nile\, a real humpback whale\, and how each of us can better take care of our oceans. \nRegistration is required for this Zoom program\, sign up here: https://forms.gle/Kd9u5eH9BrPUKgQ97 \nCynde will bring us inside her life-size inflatable Nile and engage children in a fun session with lots of time for questions. Families will receive a special email from Cynde to prepare for the fun. \nProgram is limited to 20 families\, additional registrations will automatically be added to our wait-list. SUMMARY:Going On a Whale Watch
DESCRIPTION:1PM\, All Welcome \nCynde has led over 2000 whale watch trips out of Gloucester\, Ma. We will “virtually” leave Gloucester Harbor and head out to sea aboard the Privateer IV from Seven Seas Whale Watch. We will learn about the species of whales that are observed off the coast of Massachusetts. We will discuss why they are there\, see videos of behaviors they do\, and learn about individual humpback whales. If you have never been on a whale watch\, this is a close second.  Zoom link will be posted on the CML’s Facebook page on June 17th or sign-up here and we’ll email you the link. \nThis program is supported in part by a grant from the Belchertown Cultural Council\, a local agency\, which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council\, a state agency.
