DESCRIPTION:Fall Foraging Walk\, 4:30-5:30pm \nGain greater food security by learning wild and feral edible and medicinal plants and fungi. On Wednesday\, September 16 at 4:30pm using the Wallace Lake Sensory Trails\, we will learn how to identify and prepare foods using common wild edibles that you can find near where you live. Join naturalist and wild edibles enthusiast Arianna Alexsandra Collins of Offerings for Community Building on our foraging walk. She will discuss flora and fungi characteristics for proper identification as well as meal and medicinal preparation. Trailside nibbling during this 1-hour walkabout is encouraged. \nRegistration is required; sign up here: https://forms.gle/EUBcUDVYge1g2Wso8\nAll ages welcome.
