DESCRIPTION:For the second year in a row\, the Clapp Memorial Library invites the public to visit and celebrate Pokémon Day on Friday\, February 27th with fun for all ages! Take part in any of our themed activities to earn a raffle ticket for a Pokémon Prize Bundle! \nAll Day: Pokémon Scavenger Hunt\nPokémon have taken over the library! All ages are invited to go on a scavenger hunt to find them in the building. \n2:30-5:00PM on the Main Floor: Pokémon Cross Stitch with Jon Rymaz\nLearn how to cross-stitch a Pokémon! Jon Rymaz will demonstrate cross-stitching and assist others in learning on the main floor of the library. Fill out this form to preregister and choose your Pokémon. Kits will be distributed on Pokémon Day. Walk-ins are welcome\, but Pokémon options for walk-ins will be limited. This program is for ages 10+. \n4:30-6:00PM: Pokémon Diamond-Painting for Teens and Tweens\nStudents in grades 6-12 are invited to diamond-paint a drink coaster featuring Eevee or one of its Eeveelutions! Teen Services Coordinator Ruthie Sterling will teach the basics of diamond-painting. All materials will be provided. Space is limited; email clapplibrarytab@gmail.com to register. \n5:00-6:00PM: Pokémon Bingo\nDo you know your Pokémon? Patrons of all ages are invited to drop-in during this hour for Pokémon Bingo on the main floor of the library! Win a sticker prize! Patrons under 10 must be accompanied and continually supervised by a parent or caregiver while in the Library per our Unattended Child Policy. No registration is necessary. \n6:00-7:45PM: Pokémon Movie Night\nWe will end the day by showing the 2019 Pokémon movie featuring Ryan Reynolds as the voice of Detective Pikachu. DESCRIPTION:Join us for Magic the Gathering in the Activity Room. Bring your own deck or use one of our learning decks. Everyone is welcome\, however players must be fluent readers. Players under the age of 10 must have a caregiver who is at least 14 years old on the Library premises. Join us for every session or just one – it’s up to you! \nWe will have two instructors to help get games started and assist with the rules of the game. No registration is required.
