DESCRIPTION:Students entering grades 7-12 are invited to join us to learn about the medicinal properties of certain plants\, how to best care for them\, and how to create a miniature and self-sustaining biome inside of a terrarium. \nRegistration is required as materials are limited. Register at the library circulation desk or by emailing clapplibrarytab@gmail.com. This program will take place downstairs in the CAR. \nProgram brought to you with federal funds provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.

DESCRIPTION:Register for a two-day rocket building and launching program. \nMonday\, July 29th\n6:00 pm at the Clapp Memorial Library\nTuesday\, July 30th\n6:00 pm at Foley Field (behind the police station) \nThis free fun family program is for children registered for A Universe of Stories and who are also at least 6 years old. Everyone should attend with an adult.  Monday we will build our rockets and on Tuesday we will launch them. Everyone is welcome to come to watch the launching lead by Mike Daponde\, who will show us some specialty rockets. \nSupplies are limited and registration is mandatory so call or visit the Library today. 323-0417 \nSlots will first go to children who have not done this program in the past. Children who have can go on a waitlist and we will call you if there is a space.
