Snacks provided\, no registration required. \nStonewall Uprising (2010)\, TV14\, 1hr 22min\nIn the early morning hours of June 28\, 1969\, police raided the Stonewall Inn\, a popular gay bar in the Greenwich Village section of New York City. Such raids were not unusual in the late 1960s\, an era when homosexual sex was illegal in every state but Illinois. SUMMARY:Teen Crafternoon: Upcycled Planters
DESCRIPTION:Monday\, August 3rd from 4:30-5:30PM\nRAIN DATE is Friday\, August 7th from 4:30-5:30PM \nTeens ages 12-18 are invited to the library to upcycle tea tins into planters to celebrate the 2026 Teen Summer Reading Program theme\, “Plant a Seed\, Read”! This program will take place Monday\, August 3rd from 5:00-6:00PM on the front lawn of the library\, except in the case of rain in which the program will be rescheduled to Friday\, August 7th at the same time. This program is drop-in; teens can come by any time over the hour to create their planter as supplies last. \nParticipants of the Teen Summer Reading Program will earn a raffle ticket for their attendance. \nThis program is funded by the Friends of the Clapp Memorial Library and thanks to the generosity of our community spider plant donors.

This program will take place Monday\, August 10th from 4:30-5:30PM on the front lawn of the library\, except in the case of rain in which the program will be rescheduled to Friday\, August 14th at the same time. \nThis program is drop-in; teens can come by any time over the hour to tie-dye as supplies last.  Attendees will earn a raffle ticket for the Teen Summer Reading Program \nTeens are asked to bring their own\, pre-washed shirt to tie-dye. Extra shirts will be extremely limited. \nThis program is funded by the Friends of the Clapp Memorial Library.
