DESCRIPTION:Teens in grades 7-12 are invited to tie-dye and learn about the Clapp Memorial Library’s Teen Advisory Board (TAB) on Monday\, September 20th at 4:30PM. The program will take place on the library’s front lawn. This is the first TAB meeting of the 2021-2022 school year. TAB is a group of 7th-12th grade students who propose library programming for teens and provide input on teen services. As they tie-dye\, teens will share what programs they would like to see from the library this year. Teens are asked to please bring their own shirt/socks/pillowcase/etc. to tie-dye (hint: summer reading shirts work great!)\, but teens can contact the library in advance if they will need one of these items provided. Registration is required. Teens can email clapplibrarytab@gmail.com or visit the library’s circulation desk to sign-up. \nThe rain date for this program will be Wednesday\, September 22nd at 4:30PM.

DESCRIPTION:Summer Reading Finale! \nMeet and learn about a variety of exotic animals from around the world in this extremely fun & interactive program! No registration required but children and teens should be registered for our summer reading programs. This event will be on the Library lawn so please bring chairs and blankets. Children who qualify for a free t-shirt and book should arrive between 5:15 pm and 5:45 pm to pick theirs out. Shirts and books will be available after the show\, too. Once a body is reported\, the surviving crew will openly debate who they think The Impostor is. The Impostor’s goal is to pretend that they are a member of the crew. If The Impostor is not voted off\, everyone goes back to maintaining the ship until another body is found. If The Impostor is voted off\, the crew wins!
