DESCRIPTION:REGISTRATION REQUIRED \nCheck out cool technology at the Clapp Memorial Library – Ages 10-17! \nSaturday\, July 21st\, 1:30-3:30 \nSee\, learn\, and use some of the coolest new tech out there including a 3D Printer\, 3D Design software\, 3D Scanning\, 3Doodler\, Ozobots\, Little Bits Electronics\, and Sphero.  Participants will learn how to create and print 3D objects.  Everyone gets a 3D print\, but there will not be time to complete them all during the workshop so you can return to the library at a later date to pick yours up.  Participants can bring their own laptops or use the ones provided. \nThis program is supported in part by a grant from the Belchertown Cultural Council\, a local agency supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council\, a state agency.

SUMMARY:Making Friends with yourself through Creative Journaling
DESCRIPTION:A free\, 90-minute Creative Journal Expressive Arts Workshop for Teens. \nThis 90-minute workshop for teens 12-18 is based on the book The Creative Journal for Teens\, Making Friends with Yourself by Lucia Capacchione\, Ph.D.\, R.E.A.T.  The author\, a registered art therapist\, has developed easy techniques for journal writing that enables teens to express their real selves.  Participants learn methods to get to know themselves\, to solve everyday problems\, and to make dreams come true in a non-judgemental atmosphere.  Activities include time for structured drawing\, writing\, and reflection exercises. \nInstructor: Chris Shirtcliff\, Certified Creative Journal Expressive Arts Instructor and Visioning Coach.  Learn more about her workshops at doorwaysanddreams.com \nThis program is supported in part by a grant from the Belchertown Cultural Council\, a local agency which his supported by the Mass Cultural Council\, a state agency. \nRegister at the Clapp Memorial Library Circulation Desk!
