SUMMARY:Fall Harvest Candle
DESCRIPTION:Intergenerational program – for teens and their favorite adult!  Sign in pairs\, local teens and a crafty adult in their life\, here: https://forms.gle/HbG5r6JP68RCTGbM6 \nBe a part of this captivating session where we explore the diverse world of candle making techniques and tips. You’ll be introduced to the various types of candles and discover which waxes are best suited for each type. Additionally\, we will emphasize the importance of selecting the correct wick sizes and heat resistant containers to ensure optimal burning experience. One of the focal points of our workshop will be differentiating between essential oils and fragrance oils\, enabling you to create candles with delightful scents. We will also provide you with complete instructions on how to burn your candle safely and efficiently. Each participant will have the opportunity to craft their own captivating FALL fragrance container candle using high-quality soy wax in a season appropriate tin and fragrant oils reminiscent of fall. Once you’ve poured the wax and allowed it to cool undisturbed for approximately 24 hours\, you will be able to take your finished creation home. The size of your candle will be approximately 4 oz. net weight\, with dimensions of 3” in width and 2.50” in height. \nSAFETY NOTICE: Melted wax is hot and fragrance oils can be strongly scented. Registering children under 18 years old for these programs indicates that the parent/guardian acknowledges the possibility of safety concerns while handling hot wax. \nProgram starts promptly\, no admission is allowed after instructions are given.\nNo children will be allowed in the room\, only the registered participants.\nNo exceptions will be made to these rules. \nThis program is funded by the Friends of the Clapp Memorial Library.

DESCRIPTION:Calling all Belchertown Students for Afterschool D&D\nTuesdays\, 2:30-4:00PM\, Oct 6th\, 13\, 20th\, Nov 10th\, and 17th \nGrab your dice and join us for our Fall Teen D&D Campaign! \nEnter the VAULT OF DOOM!  Avoid traps\, face dangers\, and delve deep into the Vault of Doom to find the Crypt of Euphrasia the Spider and the treasures that lay within. \nCampaign will run weekly starting October 6th for Middle & High School Students.  We will not meet on November 3rd due to Election Day.  Participants may bring their own nut-free snacks.
