DESCRIPTION:THIS CLASS IS FULL. \nThe Clapp Memorial Library will be offering an 8-week introduction to Mindfulness Meditation workshop.  Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a technique developed at UMass Medical Center and is used to help people reduce stress in their lives.  This class for Belchertown residents will be led by nursing professor Magda Bechar and begins on Monday\, October 15th.  Sessions will begin at 7:00 PM and last for one hour. \nThe first class is mandatory! \nRegistration required – sign up at the library.  Please do not sign up if you cannot make the majority of the classes!

You’ll be challenged to create the best cupcake based on the theme of each round\, and at the end you’ll have the chance to vote on your favorites. All winners will receive prizes and each participant will bring their cupcake creations home with them. The event is for students in grades 7-12 and registration is required due to limited slots\, so be sure to do so soon!
