DESCRIPTION:Just in time for mid-terms – turn “studying” into “learning”! \nThis workshop is aimed at high school students\, but appropriate for students in grades 7 and 8 (and their parents!). \nPresented by Shannon Materka\, a Study Skills Support specialist at Pioneer Valley Performing Arts Charter Public School\, topics will range from proper highlighting techniques to how your brain processes new information and decides whether or not to keep it. Several StorySongs are accompanied with Moomations (original cartoon animations)\, illustrating the story of the songs – displayed on a monitor or large screen.  Children ages 2 to 6 are invited to attend wearing their pajamas.  No registration required.  Families that would like to participate in the Boston Bruins PJ Drive can bring a donation of new pajamas to add to the Library’s collection box.
