DESCRIPTION:REGISTRATION REQUIRED – SPACE LIMITED \nNo experience necessary for this fun workshop presented by Belchertown Artist Barbara Sullivan.  If you love color\, you’ll love this workshop.  Make a unique piece of art to take home.  All supplies provided. \nRegister at the library\, program attended for individuals 18+ who have not previously taken an alcohol ink workshop. \nSeptember 30th event is full with waiting list.  We have added a second session on October 7th to accommodate the high interest. \nThis program is funded by the Friends of the Library.

SUMMARY:Design and Construction of Windsor Chairs
DESCRIPTION:Join Patrick Perkins as he shares his knowledge and experience designing and building Windsor chairs. Topics include types of woods and antique-style tools used\, how logged wood is fashioned into finished chair parts\, and combining milk paint and oil for a durable finish. \nPatrick Perkins built his first Windsor chair in the early 1980s. He has since built many Windsor chairs in several different styles using the same techniques and tools used throughout the 18th century. \nThis program is funded by the Friends of the Library.
