SUMMARY:Teen Write Night!
DESCRIPTION:Calling all young writers\, poets\, playwrights\, and novelists! Once again the Clapp Memorial Library is opening its doors to young and aspiring writers during National Novel Writing Month.  The library will host a weekly writing program for teens in grades 7-12 throughout the month of November. SUMMARY:Mindfulness Meditation for Stress Relief
DESCRIPTION:Clapp Memorial Library is offering an eight-week Stress Reduction Awareness course led by Magda Bechar\, starting on Monday\, October 21st. \nMindfulness meditation skills teach us to be fully present in the moment and\, when practiced regularly\, helps decrease stress levels and improve general well-being and health. Skills covered in the course are gentle and free of judgment. \nBecause the course has been very popular since its start at the library\, we ask that you register only if you are able to attend all sessions. There will be no class on Monday\, November 11th\, Veterans Day. Please register in person. \nThe course is open to Belchertown residents. \nMagda Bechar\, a retired nursing professor\, has taught mindfulness meditation skills to many groups including the ones at the Clapp Memorial Library.
