The Dale is a supernatural thriller set in the town of Cold Springs\, a fictionalized version of Belchertown. Parzymieso has written for local\, regional\, and national magazines. His love of the outdoors was inspired during his youth living in western Massachusetts and roaming the wild\, lost\, and forgotten places in the Quabbin. As a novelist\, he writes about the power of faith and friendship in the face of malevolent evil. The exhibition opening will include an awards ceremony to acknowledge the creative achievements of our local photographers in capturing the beauty and natural diversity of Belchertown. \nThe ViewFinder program is funded in part by a grant from the Belchertown Cultural Council\, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council\, a state agency. Additional funding is provided by the Friends of the Clapp Memorial Library. \n

DESCRIPTION:The Clapp Memorial Library will be closed on Monday\, June 16-Wednesday\, June 18 due to safety concerns during installation of the stained glass window and new side entry. The Library will also be closed Thursday\, June 19 in observance of\nthe Juneteenth Holiday. \nMaterials due while the building is closed will have their due dates automatically extended and items will remain on hold for an additional four days upon reopening. \nThe Pride Movie Matinee on June 16 will take place in the Town Hall Auditorium.
