The first meeting will be an introduction to what we will be doing in the club and a lesson in bookmark making! As members of the club, we will be reading diverse books (provided by the library) and then coming together for a meeting on the fourth Wednesday of every month. After talking about the book, we will use our new knowledge from the stories in order to help our community. Actions will be tasks such as making toys for shelter animals and creating cards for kids in hospitals. Members will also learn leadership and activism skills they can then apply to their own lives. We are looking for creative kids who want to create a positive change in our world, no matter how small.
