Teens in grades 7-12 are invited to the Clapp Memorial Library’s Activity Room to learn the art of metalsmithing with Heather Beck on Thursday, December 3rd, from 4:30-6:00PM. This copper bookmark making workshop will teach teens how to create drawings in metal with special tools and hammers and to stamp images, words and textures to create a truly unique bookmark that will stand the test of time. Participants will learn proper hammer techniques, how to patina their bookmark and share a wonderful class experience with friends. Teens will get to leave with a finished beautiful piece that they can store in their favorite book.

Space is limited and registration is required – click here to sign up! This program is funded by the Friends of the Clapp Memorial Library.
