Area wildlife photographer, Dale Monette, shares his stories and photographs of the animals of Quabbin as they go about their daily routines throughout the four seasons.
Monette has documented the thousands of hours he has spent on the Quabbin Reservoir watershed. From eagles and loons to otters, bear, moose and more, it’s all been captured on camera.
Since 1975, Monette has lived within two miles of the Quabbin. He retired from the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreations’s Quabbin Visitor Center in 2014, where in the 1980’s he took part in establishing loons and eagles as nesting species there.
