A casting survey will be sent out to participants that must be completed by 7/19 so we can match you with your character.
All participants will receive a character sheet and a “how it works” document. Costumes of any level are optional but encouraged!
GAME DESCRIPTION
It’s the night before the kingdom makes a major push against the minions of the Super Dark Lord of Evil Badness.
All the kingdom’s most popular heroes and big adventuring guilds are fielding questing parties. And then there’s everybody else. The royal charter makes it clear that all adventurers from far and wide are welcome to register a party, **provided it meets the baseline regulatory standards for adventuring parties. Adventuring Party Registration has been open for weeks, but since you waited ’til the last minute to get your act together, you’ve elected to do what every other D-List Hero is probably also doing; entrusting your life and future success to whoever you can pick up at the bar tonight.
The tavern bustles and adventurers gather. A royal registrar is waiting by the door to sign up any parties that manage to form tonight, and in the meantime, a little healthy competition feels like the best way to show off, so sharpen your best axe, polish your throwing arm, and ready your wits to impress your fellow misfits and miscreants into hiring you for their party, and from there FAME, GLORY, and also (potentially) SURVIVAL!
LFG is a game about building standard DnD style 4 person parties with the right mix of casters and meatshields to keep yourselves alive, playing stupid mini-games, and chewing the scenery, but mostly it’s a game about entertaining each other, in the course of doing those things. This is one of those times when your character winning or succeeding won’t always be your goal, if there’s a funnier outcome available. This game will be SILLY. Secrets won’t stay secret for long. And tavern brawls are 100% on the menu.
