Clapp Memorial Library is offering an eight-week Stress Reduction Awareness course led by Magda Bechar, starting on Monday, October 21st.
Mindfulness meditation skills teach us to be fully present in the moment and, when practiced regularly, helps decrease stress levels and improve general well-being and health. Skills covered in the course are gentle and free of judgment.
Because the course has been very popular since its start at the library, we ask that you register only if you are able to attend all sessions. There will be no class on Monday, November 11th, Veterans Day. Please register in person.
The course is open to Belchertown residents.
Magda Bechar, a retired nursing professor, has taught mindfulness meditation skills to many groups including the ones at the Clapp Memorial Library.
