Summer Reading Programs
Summer Reading 2025: June 21st – August 16th
Every year between June and September, you can take part in one of our summer reading programs! We’ve got ’em for adults, teens and children.
We make use of Beanstack to manage our Summer Reading, as well as several other, programs. You can access it at clapplibrary.beanstack.com or through their app. Beanstack lists programs as “Challenges” and automatically displays only those that the selected reader account can enroll in. If Beanstack only displays the Challenge you are enrolled in and you wish to see others, click on the green “Challenges” button to return to the full list.
If you have used Beanstack in the past, you already have a Beanstack account. Choose the “sign in” option, and then select whatever programs you’d like to register for.

2025 Summer Adult Reading Program
LEVEL UP your reading this summer with our Summer Reading Challenge!
Read and earn tickets for prizes and level up! Read or listen to books from three of the genres in each level, plus one free choice for a total of 10 books and 19 tickets. This year’s theme is “Leveling Up,” so as you read, you progress or “level up.” Higher levels include less popular genres and are worth more tickets. You may read from any level at any time, but please only count each genre once. Books may be in any format but each book may only be used once.
For extra tickets try out our Bonus Levels and complete some puzzles!
Adults can register and participate online through beanstack. If you cannot take part online, pick up a paper copy at the Circulation Desk.
The Adult Summer Reading Program is open to Clapp Memorial Library patrons who are 18+ and have a CWMARS Library Card in good standing.

Read what you want and keep track of your reading through Beanstack website or app.
“LEVEL UP” with the Clapp Memorial Library Teen Summer Reading Program! Sign up and start reading, earn raffle tickets by time spent reading, attending teen programs, and completing bonus activities! Enter your tickets in the drawings of your choice all through Beanstack.

Summer 2025 Children’s Reading Program
LEVEL UP with the Clapp Memorial Library!
We offer summer reading programs for children every year, starting in June/July and running into August. For 2025 our program runs from June 21st – August 16th.
In order to participate, you must register online.
Starting July 7th make sure to visit the library every week for our weekly raffles, and to collect earned beads. For hands on fun, make use of our coloring sheet log available at the library.

Winter Reading Program
Cozy Up with a Book – Adult Winter Reading Program
Read or listen to books this winter and get a raffle ticket for each book you read by filling out the bingo card. You earn 3 more raffle tickets for finishing one bingo line, and 10 bonus tickets for a full house – a total of 25 chances to win! The bingo card also includes fun, cozy activities to enjoy this winter. We encourage all patrons to sign up and participate online, but you can pick up a bingo sheet at the circulation desk if you prefer. Each raffle ticket will be entered into a drawing for a prize of your choice.
For adults 18 years and older. Beginning January 1st until March 31st. Sign up & take part through Beanstack (clapplibrary.beanstack.com) or through the Beanstack app. If you cannot take part online, you can take part at the library.
Prizes include a Stop & Shop gift card, a Grapevine Grille gift card, and a basket of goods for a cozy winter evening. The prize drawing will take place the first week of April.
